How does this compare to other Benks Kevlar cases?
ArmorGrid is the geometric Jiaoluo-weave variant in Obsidian Black — understated and minimalist. The ArmorPro line has a more aggressive 600D weave and bigger TPU bumpers for max drop ratings. The Aurora is the colourful FloatWeave™ pattern. Pick based on aesthetic preference; protection levels are similar across the range.
Is the Kevlar® actually genuine?
Yes — it's licensed DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber, the same material used in protective gear. It's not just a name; the case has the cut and abrasion resistance to back it up.
What does the Excimer UV coating actually do?
Two things: it gives the surface a smooth, soft-touch feel that doesn't get sticky; and it resists fingerprint oils so the case looks clean longer. Cheap matte coatings often feel rubbery and pick up smudges easily — Excimer is a noticeable upgrade.
Will the geometric pattern wear off?
No. The pattern is the actual weave of the Kevlar fibers, not a print or coating. It's structural — it can't peel, fade, or rub off, even with years of pocket abrasion.
